All drivers must wear fire suits that are made of fire resistant materials that effectively
cover the driver's body (2 or 3 layer suits recommended) with no holes
or tears. |
|

|
RACING HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL
DRIVERS. Helmet must be Snell 90 or newer, approved safety helmet. All helmets
must have Snell sticker clearly visible inside the helmet. |
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
|
|
All cars must have racing type three (3) inch
lap belts and racing type harness with a single point quick release. A minimum of
one (1) submarine strap is required. All belts must be bolted to chassis or roll
bar with a minimum 3/8 inch aircraft bolt or grade 8 bolts. Shoulder belts must be
bolted behind and below the drivers shoulders. Lap belts must be bolted behind and
below the drivers hips. |

|
Seats that have been approved for
marketing as racing seats may be used if properly secured to frame or roll cage with
aircraft quality bolts of not less than 3/8 inch. NO FIBERGLASS OR PLASTIC SEATS
ALLOWED. |

|
|
Batteries must be securely mounted and
covered with sheet rubber. Batteries not allowed in the same compartment as the
driver unless completely enclosed in a leak-proof container. Battery must be in good
working order, and capable of starting car. |
|
|
|
|

|
Roll Cage: Full cage required, bars
minimum of 1-1/2 inch O.D. x .120 wall tubing. Bars must consist of upright bars
welded securely to the frame and have full box frame on top. Bars must be braced
from top of back upright to frame, must have bars in drivers door. Corners must have
gussets. Top of roll cage must be at least 2 inches above driver's head. |

|
Shock resistant roll bar padding is required
on all bars that driver's head may come in contact with while strapped in the seat. |

|
|
Must have functional padded headrest in line
with center of driver's head. |
|
|

|
The windshield area must be covered with an
approved metal protection screen or at least four (4) 1/4 inch rebar on driver's side to
protect the driver from debris that may be on the track. |

|

|
|
No burning lights on cars while on the track. |
|
|
|
|
| 11. |
|
|
All drive shafts must be painted white, be
looped at front and top half covered at front. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 12. |
|
|
All doors must be welded or bolted shut. |

|

| 13. |
|
|
Two (2) throttle return springs are
mandatory. A steel toe loop on throttle pedal is required. |
|
|
|
|
| 14. |

|
All cars must have approved fire extinguisher
securely mounted within reach of the driver. The extinguisher must be mounted by a
bracket which allows the driver to remove the unit from the mount for emergency use.
NO EXTINGUISHER MAY BE TAPED TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET OR ROLL BAR. On board flameout
system is recommended. |

Fuel lines must be safely routed with proper
clamps, etc. |
